Jeremy Colwell is a current Dark Horse, Zenescope and IDW colorist with upcoming titles from Image and Top Cow.  He studied painting at the University of Washington, got married, got a ‘real’ job, had a son, and said adios to said job to be a stay-at-home dad. Had another son. He volunteered a lot in their schools. Kids grew up and he decided to get another job—one he would love. Comics. He started as an inker, but realized his true artistic love and talent was coloring. So now that’s what he does. He still volunteers in the schools though, teaching kids artistic fundamentals that he never got growing up so that they can take his job some day and make even better comics. He lives in Camas, WA with his wife, two sons, and two work-interrupting cats.

Jeremy is most known for coloring Powerpuff Girls, Dexter’s Lab, Edward Scissorhands, and many of IDW’s kids properties.  He has also done a lot of Dark Horse too with Fred Van Lent, Reilly Brown, and Freddie Williams II, Brain Boy and stuff in Dark Horse Presents as well as an OGN.  Upcoming work includes Rob Liefeld’s new Bloodstrike and Covenant series from Image, an unannounced Top Cow book about one of the IX’s, more Dark Horse Presents, and an unannounced Rovio book .  A full listing of his published credits are here:
